Important news about our revised North Coogee Name Change proposal.

Following on from a positive report by City of Cockburn officers, Cockburn Council have voted in support of our proposal to change the North Coogee suburb to Catherine Point and Port Coogee. The new proposal will now be submitted to Landgate for their Suburb Naming Policy assessment. 

If this is successful, an independent community consultation will be undertaken by the City of Cockburn to determine whether we will :

Remain North Coogee, or, change to Catherine Point and Port Coogee.

Many years of work have led us to this opportunity, and we encourage all members to spread the word and start conversations about Catherine Point.
